## Questions

**How much does Paddl cost?**

£69 per location per month, or £703.80 a year billed annually (15% off). Every feature is on the one plan, including the AI. Each location includes 5 owner and manager users, extra ones are £2.99 a month each, and staff do not take a seat.

**How much does food safety software cost per site in the UK?**

Published UK prices run from a few pounds a month for a records-only SFBB app to over £80 per site for the larger checklist platforms, with many vendors quoting rather than publishing. Paddl is £69 per site per month for every feature, and the table above shows the published rivals with the date each price was checked.

**How does the trial work?**

30 days free with every feature. You enter a card to start and nothing is charged until the trial ends. Cancel during the trial and you pay nothing.

**How are staff counts calculated?**

Staff-role users are free and do not count. Each location includes 5 owner and manager users; with two locations you have ten, who can be assigned to any of your sites. Beyond that pool each owner or manager is £2.99 a month.

**Can I pay annually?**

Yes. Annual billing is £703.80 per location a year, 15% less than paying monthly. Extra users stay monthly.

**Can I add more locations later?**

Yes. Add or remove locations at any time. Changes are prorated, so you only pay for the days a site is on the plan.

**What payment methods do you accept?**

All major credit and debit cards. Larger groups can ask to pay by invoice.

**Is there a discount for groups with many locations?**

No. The price is £69 per location at any size, with every feature included, so twelve sites cost twelve times one site. Annual billing saves 15%. There is nothing to negotiate and no quote to wait for.

**How does onboarding work for a group?**

Groups of three or more sites are offered a setup call when they sign up. Groups of ten or more usually start with a 30-minute group demo, then a setup call to build the template library and site list, with a named contact afterwards.

**Is there a cheaper plan?**

No. There is one plan at £69 per location per month. A records-only SFBB app is cheaper, and the comparison pages show what each one publishes; the Paddl price includes HACCP and SFBB generation, allergens, training, COSHH, risk assessments, licence and insurance tracking, the staff app and the audit pack.

**Is team chat extra?**

No. Team chat is on the one plan at £69 per location. Each location includes 5 owner and manager users, extra ones are £2.99 a month each, and staff do not take a seat at all, so a fifty-person team costs the same as a five-person one.

**What is not included?**

Sensor hardware (staff log temperatures on the app), a volume discount, a rota that schedules one person across several sites, and POS connections other than Square.

**How are roles and site data handled in a group?**

There are three roles: owner, manager and staff. Owners see every site. Managers see the sites they have been given. Staff see their own site. Records, documents, equipment, training and compliance scores belong to a site, and every action is logged with who did it and when.
