Probe Thermometer Calibration Record
A probe thermometer calibration record using the ice point (0°C) and boiling point (100°C) checks, so your temperature readings stand up at inspection.
Every temperature record you keep is only as good as the probe behind it, so the probe needs checking. The two standard checks are the ice point, where a probe should read 0°C give or take a degree, and the boiling point, where it should read close to 100°C. This free record lets you log both checks, the deviation, and whether the probe passed.
Paddl does this automatically
Instead of filling in paper templates, Paddl generates probe thermometer calibration records automatically with AI - complete with digital signatures, mobile access, automatic reminders, and audit-ready records for EHO inspections.

How to use this template
Run the ice point check
Fill a cup with crushed ice and a little water, stir, insert the probe, and it should read 0°C within about a degree.
Run the boiling point check
Place the probe in boiling water and it should read close to 100°C, allowing for altitude where you are.
Record the deviation
Write the actual reading and how far it is from the expected value. If it is outside ±1°C the probe fails.
Act on a failed probe
Recalibrate or adjust if the probe allows it, otherwise take it out of use and replace it, then record what you did.
