Common questions from pub groups
How does Paddl work for a tenanted pub estate?
A tenanted pub is its own food business, so the tenant is the food business operator and normally holds the Paddl account for that pub. If the pubco wants visibility, the tenant adds the pubco's compliance lead as a manager scoped to that pub. A managed estate runs every pub under one account with managers scoped to their sites.
Can we track premises licences and the DPS across the estate?
Yes. Each pub's premises licence is uploaded and read by the AI for conditions, hours and dates, and the designated premises supervisor and personal licence holders are recorded per site, so head office can see which pubs have cover and which do not.
How is a pub group priced?
£69 per pub per month with every feature, 5 users and 10GB per pub, and 15% off annual billing. Twelve pubs cost twelve times one pub. There is no volume discount and no quote; groups of three or more are offered a setup call at signup.
Does it cover the cellar as well as the kitchen?
Yes. Cellar routines (line cleaning, gas checks, temperatures) are templates like any other, assigned to every pub and completed per pub, and gas safety certificates are stored per site with their renewal dates tracked.
Can our area managers see the pubs they look after together?
Yes. A manager can be given any number of pubs and sees them together, with team compliance, the activity feed and records to review. They do not see pubs they have not been given.
